Fender Jimmy Page Mirror Telecaster Rosewood Fingerboard White Blonde
Quando nel 1969 la radio iniziò a trasmettere il
riff di apertura di "Good Times Bad Times", tutto cambiò.
In quel momento Jimmy Page rese immortale la sua eredità e modificò
il corso della musica pop con una sola chitarra: la sua Telecaster
Fender.
La Telecaster Fender Jimmy Page Mirror è un omaggio a quella
chitarra.
Prima di diventare la "chitarra con specchi" e poi trasformarsi in
uno strumento esclusivo verniciato a mano, presentava una finitura
White Blonde laccata di serie.
In ciascuna fase della sua evoluzione, questa chitarra leggendaria
ha prodotto alcuni dei riff più emblematici del XX secolo.
La Telecaster Jimmy Page Mirror presenta un corpo in frassino in
due pezzi, finitura laccata e una coppia di pickup single-coil
Jimmy Page Custom '59 Tele che producono il timbro incendiario e
pieno che ha ispirato tutti gli indimenticabili brani del primo
album dei Led Zeppelin.
Il manico in acero con profilo a C ovale personalizzato presenta
una tastiera in palissandro slab con raggio da 7,25" e 21 tasti
vintage che le donano una sensazione di morbidezza quando la si
suona.
Il ponte "top-loader" consente un montaggio delle corde attraverso
il corpo (through-body) o fissandole al ponte (top-load), che
produce un timbro più rotondo e più caldo e una minore tensione, in
modo da poter piegare le corde con facilità.
Tra le altre caratteristiche si segnala un capotasto in osso, uno
string tree arrotondato vintage e meccaniche Pure Vintage Single
Line "Fender Deluxe" per offrire stile e prestazioni
autentici.
Creata in collaborazione con lo stesso Page, la Telecaster Jimmy
Page vanta anche alcuni tocchi personalizzati, quali una firma di
Jimmy Page sulla paletta e sulla piastra di giunzione del manico
cromata e personalizzata.
Compresi nella custodia in tweed vintage ci sono otto specchi
rotondi (un tributo al trattamento personalizzato che Page più
avanti applicò alla chitarra), un cavo spiralato nero, cinghia
"stained glass" vintage e un certificato di autenticità
personalizzato.
A proposito della sua adorata Telecaster, Jimmy ne ha parlato
soltanto bene: "L'ho fatta diventare davvero mia; è una chitarra
davvero magica".
